Laser Cutting

Laser cutting achieves a hairline cut. The laser fires rapid pulses as it travels along computer generated lines. Because the material isn't touched, the finished product has a smooth edge.

We have the following materials available for cutting:

• Acrylic (up to 10mm thick)
• Felt (with sticky backing)
• Flexigrave
• Paua
• Rimu

We can also cut:-

• Plastic (except PVC)

• MDF - Custom Wood (up to 12mm thick)
• Rimu Veneer (up to 12mm thick)

We are happy to do a free test cut on other materials.

To order a laser cutting job, use this form. If you supply vector artwork in a supported format, we can offer quicker turn around times. Ensure that all cutlines are black, and <0.076mm thick. If you need your material engraved, please supply a seperate file with all lines 0.1mm or thicker. You can use free graphics software for this. If you supply us a photo or hand drawn image we can convert that into vector artwork. Conversion starts at $40.00 NZD.
